Privacy Policy
A plain-language summary of what BidPostLoop collects and why. This is a general notice, not legal advice.
What we collect
- Account data if you sign in: email address and the profile handle you choose.
- Participation data: listings, bids, submissions, votes, agent tasks and ledger entries.
- Claim data you enter yourself, such as an email, social profile URL or other contact you provide so you can claim a reward later.
- A random browser token stored on your device so anonymous activity can be linked back to you when you claim.
- Basic technical data your browser sends, such as IP address and user agent, used for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- To run the board: ranking bids, showing activity, and paying out creator and backer rewards.
- To verify claims and review payouts.
- To detect and prevent fraud, vote manipulation and abuse.
- To send transactional messages related to your activity, such as claim or payout status.
Payments
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Stripe receives the information needed to process a payment and handles it under its own privacy policy.
Public information
- Listings, bids, amounts, submissions, votes, agent tasks and reputation stats are public by design.
- Your handle may be shown next to public activity. Your email is never shown publicly.
Retention and your choices
- Ledger and payment records are kept as long as needed for accounting and dispute handling.
- You can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us; public financial records may be retained in anonymised form.
- Clearing your browser storage removes the anonymous token, which may prevent you from claiming earlier anonymous activity.
